This position is perfect for a General Practice Veterinarian, Urgent Care Veterinarian, or Emergency Veterinarian who is interested in training and support while working with a Boarded Radiation Oncologist to provide their patients the highest standard of care. Hospital Hours:
Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 5:30 pm
Occasional Friday hours to accommodate our patients and clients

Summary of Position:
The primary role of the Veterinary Hospitalist is to oversee clinical care within the department and act as PetCure Oncology’s lead veterinarian within the practice. This position works closely in collaboration with, and at the direction of, a PetCure board-certified Radiation Oncologist. The onsite veterinarian is also responsible for managing and developing the team, which consists of a Radiation Therapist and two Veterinary Technicians.

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, before their start date.
- 3-5 years of prior working experience as a GP, UC, ER, or Hospitalist
