```Overview```
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. As a Veterinarian, you will provide medical care and treatment to a variety of animals, ensuring their health and well-being. ```Duties```
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose and treat illnesses or injuries
- Perform surgical procedures, such as spaying/neutering, tumor removals, and basic soft tissue surgery
- Administer vaccinations and medications as needed
- Provide dental care, including cleanings and extractions
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care
- Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and general animal welfare
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine and attend continuing education courses
```Requirements```
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid state veterinary license
- Experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and diseases
- Proficiency in performing surgical procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and empathize with pet owners
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
- Knowledge of practice management software is a plus
