Job Description
OVERVIEW
The Associate Universal Endpoint Management (UEM) Technologist provides basic level endpoint management services and assists with one or more major (cross-functional) initiatives relating to Device Management, Compliance, Monitoring, Versioning, and Asset Protection.
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
1. Initial resource for UEM technical issues and call tickets.
2. Possess basic knowledge of one or more Endpoint Technologies and/or Endpoint Management Software solutions.
3. Assist with a wide range of UEM functions including but not limited to: Device Imaging, Asset Management, and Patching.
4. Support certain aspects of the Inventory Lifecycle Management process, including ordering, distribution, tracking, and warranty information, as assigned by UEM Management.
5. Assist with the development of technical support documentation and SOPs.
6. Provide analysis of Endpoint Security Protection technologies as assigned. Provide input to senior UEM staff. Perform routine testing to validate that protection technologies are functioning as designed.
7. Assist with the Research and Development process for new technologies.
8. Provide evening and weekend UEM support as needed. Sheetz is open 24/7/365 and as such, our internal and external customers may require support at any time.
QUALIFICATIONS
(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree which includes courses in computer programming, systems analysis, system development, or systems engineering is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Computer Engineering preferred.
