BoeingCommercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate Tool & Fixture Specialist (Level B) to support our team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd Shift!
Position Responsibilities:
Performs routine tool set up activities.
Makes minor repairs.
Performs manufacture, assembly and fabrication of tools.
Operates various factory support equipment to move materials, product, and tools as required.
Provides tooling support to other organizations.
Assists in determining fabrication and assembly processes for the design.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must be willing to work any shift assigned.
Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.
6 months or more of experience in setting up a tool set-up and maintenance.
6 months or more of experience in repairing, maintaining, construction, and/or the inspection of tools, dies, jigs, powerfeed, etc.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
6 months or more of experience setting-up and maintaining powerfeed drills.
6 months or more of experience in setting-up cutters for both manual and automation operations.
6 months or more of experience in operating overhead cranes and/or mobile cranes.
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
