Join the Kohler cybersecurity team in this unique opportunity to set your mark and live on the leading edge. As part of the Kohler cybersecurity team, the Associate Analyst, Cybersecurity-Threat & Response, will join the global security operations team and work closely with the other members of the cybersecurity team to help protect and defend against digital threats. This associate will assist with monitoring for security threats, researching suspicious activity, and documenting incidents. They may also help configure and maintain security tools. The ideal candidate is passionate about Information Technology, specifically in Security, and is driven to be an expert in all aspects of IT Security technologies and processes. This is a detailed, technical position.
Specific Responsibilities
- Will work on a global team that provides 24x7 cybersecurity support
- Provide analysis and trending security log data from a large number of security devices
- Plan, organize, and devise approaches necessary to respond to incidents and obtain useful forensic information from the evidence collected
- Work within the major security capabilities including such activities as inventory/classification; vulnerability mgmt.; secure config mgmt.; privileged access; email protection; boundary protection; and/or identity and access mgmt. This will drive them to show these skills
- Take responsibility for developing and maintaining SOC documentation and processes.
- Contribute to incident and investigation post-mortem briefings, analysis, and reporting.
- Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends.
- Contribute to the development of policies, standards and guidelines for incident response.
- Review, rate risk and provide simple, but descriptive reports on security vulnerabilities pertinent to the Kohler Infrastructure
- Diligently maintain Kohler Co. Cybersecurity framework and underlying policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain or related technical field. Under some circumstances significant work-related experience will be accepted in absence of a technical degree.
- Basic experience as a Security/Network Administrator or equivalent knowledge
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Highly motivated with a genuine enthusiasm for Information Security
- Track record of creative problem solving, and the desire to create and build new processes
- Good interpersonal, organizational, writing, communications and briefing skills
- Related experience: computer intrusion analysis and incident response; intrusion detection; network protocols and devices; security architecture; threat intelligence consumption and management; and multiple operating systems
- Preferred to have knowledge of standard security frameworks
- The ability to read, write, and speak Mandarin, French, or Mexican Spanish is a strong plus.

The salary range for this position is $66,300 - $83,500. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
