Job Summary and Qualifications

HCA is seeking dynamic driven individuals who love finding great talent. Our sourcing team plays a critical role in this Fortune 500 company and that is finding critically needed talent to ensure the best quality of care for our patients. You will get to work with the latest and greatest tools like Avature, LinkedIn Recruiter, various databases as well as the largest medical applicant database in the country in our Taleo system. What you will do in this role:

• Develops souring/recruiting strategies within their individual markets that help match up passive talent with different job functions within each division
  
• Communicates and meets independently with Recruiter Partners and in a manner that promotes a partnership for acquiring the necessary talent, to understand hiring manager requirements and expectations, clarify processes, provide regular updates and receive feedback on sourcing efforts
  
• Creates and develops talent pools and communities via various cutting-edge sourcing methods. Develops and leverages various technologies, databases and websites to identify passive and active candidates
  
• Responsible for individual production goals centered around interviews and hires within facilities within their respective geographic markets
  
• Utilizes advanced sourcing techniques to identify & engage qualified passive and active candidates. Maintains current knowledge of emerging technology to stay abreast of innovative sourcing trends, social media outlets and best talent acquisition channels
  
• Understands and stays up to date on the financial impact of utilizing contract labor within certain units within our hospitals and crates targeted searches to help decrease contract labor spend in these areas
  
• Crafts and executes Boolean searches and utilizes data management / business intelligence skills to extract candidate data from various sources
  
• Actively participates in talent acquisition and other appropriate groups / organizations
  
• Reviews and audits job postings to ensure effectiveness; makes recommendations and revisions following consultation with the appropriate Recruiter Partner, Manager and / or Director
  
• Conducts candidate assessments to determine if their capabilities match the job requirements. Activities may include telephone and knowledge or skill-based testing
  
• Maintains updated candidate status / disposition in applicant tracking system and / or CRM tool to ensure compliance with company policies as well as federal and state employment laws
  
• Attends job fairs, college recruitment events, primary and secondary educational outreach programs, etc. as needed
  
• Maintains social media pages (Linked, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to engage active/passive talent pipeline
  
• Gathers market data and competitive intelligence to present to Recruiter Partners, Managers and / or Directors and create targeted sourcing strategies
  
• Provides general sourcing training and / or within specific tools to Recruiter Partners as requested
  
• Maintains ongoing touch points with candidates in the interview and onboarding processes to increase engagement and the number of candidate starts
  
• Acts as an ambassador of HCA representing the employment brand while building new candidate alliances and networks
  
• Knowledge and understanding of healthcare industry, terminology and standards preferred
  
• Must be self-motivated and a self-starter who works well under pressure
  
• Must be highly organized with demonstrated ability to multi-task
  
• Requires superb communications skills, both verbal and written
  
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships
  
• Technologically savvy, including proficiency with MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required
  
• SEO, social media tools, CRM systems, Boolean searches is preferred
