As a Quantitative Data Engineer, you will be working at the intersection of finance and technology. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of our quantitative research and capabilities for our subscribers, utilizing your expertise in data engineering.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure to support quantitative research and backend systems.
- Work closely with quantitative engineers and product managers to understand data requirements and enhance data-driven systems.
- Contribute to the integration of data into quantitative models and backend services.
- Identify and implement optimizations to improve data processing speed, model execution, and overall system performance.
- Proactively address data quality issues and implement solutions to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- The ideal candidate will be an analytical and technical problem solver, curious about financial markets and quantitative finance, and show an ability to work autonomously and as part of a distributed team.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Physics, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Proven experience in quantitative data engineering within the financial industry.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python.
- Familiarity with quantitative finance concepts and financial instruments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team.
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
- Visual acuity for reading and using the computer
