The Associate Retirement Client Advisor provides ongoing support to the RPS team and manages certain account relationships within an assigned book of business. The Associate Retirement Client Advisor works with various aspects of the retirement plan management practice including operations, investment management, knowledge, the client service model and new business acquisition.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serves on the client service team to assist in managing client relationships to help deliver the client service model to clients.
  • Acts as the primary contact on a select group of assigned accounts.
  • Participates in client and prospect meetings as well as networking opportunities.
  • Prepares plan and Investment reviews for prospect/client meetings.
  • Monitors client plan metrics based on recordkeeping data, investment policies, and stated plan goals and objectives.
  • Monitors and manages required plan and participant notifications and reports.
  • Communicates with clients and follows up on advice delivery. Partners with the RPS team as a relationship management point of contact, delivering administrative support to key clients.
  • Facilitates changes to plan provisions, such as implementing plan recommendations.
  • Conducts annual plan and Investment reviews for assigned clients.
  • Develops competency with internal and external software packages to manage client relationships.
  • Prepares investment analysis and financial related projects as needed.
  • Develops competency in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and manages workflows and related documentation requirements.
  • Facilitates best practices and assists in monitoring and satisfying compliance requirements.

Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Completes annual E-Learning Plan and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training as assigned and keeps up-to-date knowledge of BSA as it relates to the job function.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Finance or related field required
  • 3-5 yeas of business experience in retirement plan management, or financial services related industry required
  • Previous experience with retirement plans, trust accounting and/or CRM software tools highly preferred
  • Ability to work, efficiently, effectively, and independently to see projects through to conclusion required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required
  • Basic knowledge of ERISA qualified plans preferred
  • Basic knowledge of investments required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Demonstrated client service skills required
  • Strong analytical skills preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills required
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and assignments required
  • Self-motivated and possess a sense of urgency required
  • Strong ethical and professional standards required
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and strong team orientation required
  • Ability to support the presentation of material to clients and prospective clients as part of a team required
  • Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA/QPFC) designation within 6 months of hire required

The targeted salary for this role is:
$65,480.00 - $85,124.00
You may also be offered incentive compensation, and benefits. Benefits may include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Health Savings Account, Paid Time Off. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location of the specific role as well as work experience, education, and skills of the selected candidate.
