Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the employee relations activity post hire. Responsible for employee maintenance of benefits, PTO, general needs of associates and is the first point of contact for all associates. Hours are 11 am - 7 pm, Monday through Friday. Must be bilingual in Spanish or Creole.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming phone calls and direct to correct person.
- Act as first point of contact for associates with regards to questions regarding benefits, PTO, or other general questions.
- Monitor and log automated call in line
- Track termination information.
- Keep up with filing for all associates personnel files.
- Utilize all HR Reporting tools
- Work with Associate Relations Rep to improve processes and efficiencies.
Minimum Education
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associates degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent related work experience is required.
Experience Requirements
Required:
- Bilingual (Spanish or Creole)
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
- 3 years of related work experience
Experience Preferred
SAP experience
Office equipment i.e. copier, fax, scanner, multi-line phone system
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
