We are looking for an Associate Quality Automation Engineer to support our Enterprise Content Management (ECM) team. The Opportunity:
As an Associate Quality Automation Engineer, you will report to the Application Development Team Lead to help ensure the quality of platforms and products. You will write and execute a deep and flexible set of release and non-release test scenarios to replicate business requirements. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to provide feedback on system implementation of logic. You will partner with QA/QE, DevOps and Integration teams to implement and adhere to the automation framework.
The Day-to-Day:
- Participate in elicitation activities and reviews all available documentation of the business process to extract test scenarios
- Estimate QA effort for deliverables
- Design, develop and execute automated test suites, test cases, and analyze results within Agile framework
- Replicate issues and verify bug resolution for deployments across all environments
- Resolve issues, alerts, and incidents based on predefined service level agreements regarding system availability, performance, and service levels
- Develop and maintain test accounts and profiles
- Participate in scrum team activities (including sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives)
- Perform off-hours support as needed for production deployments
Your Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of experience in software testing and test automation of web and API based solutions
- 0-2 years of experience with automation and test data management tools such as Test Complete Pro, Ready API, Service vPro, NeoLoad, GenRocket, Delphix etc. or other equivalent tools
- 0-2 years of experience in testing applications developed in various SDLC methodologies, preferably Agile
- 0-2 years of experience with other DevOps tools, such as Github, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Tosca, AppDynamics, Splunk or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience with test data management tools such as Zephyr Scale/Zephyr Squad, TestRail, qTest, HP ALM
- Experience in any of the scripting languages like Shell Scripting, Groovy, Python, Pearl, Java, JavaScript, .Net or PowerShell or equivalent
- Experience with Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
Compensation:
- $60K-75k base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
- Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
