This position contributes to Starbucks success by developing, implementing, and managing complex pricing and revenue strategies across product categories and markets in support of North American retail revenue growth, profit optimization, and customer value preservation. As an associate strategy manager, you will...
• Guide business decisions through deep understanding of business drivers and degree of business impact
• Analyze complex data, connect data to insights, and create impactful combinations of text and visual summarization
• Simplify and structure complex or ambiguous problems into insights and actionable implication
• Assist in the institutionalization of North American pricing principles and understanding of the interaction of price in market for all Starbucks products, within Starbucks, and with our customers and consumers.
We'd love to hear from people with:
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written across the organization
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a high growth environment
• Ability to develop innovative solutions and process improvements based on technical knowledge, analytical skills, and understanding of financial system
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical skill
• Strong problem-solving skill
• Ability to build relationships with people at all level
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
