Associate Pet Relocation Counselor - Seasonal Position

Position Starts with Part-time Hours in April and Offers A Full-Time (40 hours weekly) Schedule for the Summer Months

WorldCare Pet Transport is one of the world’s most respected Pet Relocation companies, specializing in the transport of household pets largely for executives of Fortune 500 companies throughout the world.

We are currently filling an Associate Pet Relocation CounselorSeasonal Position that begins as part-time hours in April (about 12 hours weekly) then becomes full-time (40 hours weekly, 8:30 am to 5:00 p.m Monday through Friday) starting in May and continuing through the busy summer months. (if a college student, full-time hours can begin when a student finishes the spring college semester). These positions conclude at the end of August. These Seasonal Positions report to our Darien, CT office. (are not remote)

As a seasonal Associate Pet Relocation Counselor you will be responsible for the following among other tasks:

• Supporting the communications and logistical activities involved with domestic and international pet moves as directed by Pet Relocation Counselors in our customer service department
• Assisting with tasks such as confirming travel information with our origin agents and destination agents, ordering travel carriers, conducting research, making quarantine arrangements, monitoring flights, etc.
• Sending updates or requesting information from customers
• Following up with boarding facilities to check on pets
• Administrative tasks such as answering inquiries, preparing itineraries, helping with billing
• Database entry and updating of information

Requirements:

* Minimum of two-three years of college education

* Proficient with Microsoft applications

* Highly organized

* Strong computer and administrative skills

* Superb communication skills both verbal and written

* Excellent attention to detail

* Keyboarding/typing including speed of 50 wpm or more

* Passion for pets!

* Ability to work between 10-12 hours weekly now (can be flexible, but must be within our normal business hours Monday through Friday) through to beginning of May (can adjust a little for college students needing to complete spring semester). Must then be able to work a full-time schedule (40 hours weekly) for the months of May through to end of August at which time these temporary positions conclude.

These temporary positions pay $20 per hour.
