TheAssociate Patient Care Coordinatoris responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service, and adhere to Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical, and service goals.

Schedule: This position is full-time (40 hours/week). Monday through Friday, a 10-hour shift between the hours of 6:30am to 5:00pm. The supervisor will determine the schedule.

Location: 8680 W Cheyenne, Las Vegas, NV. Will be asked to float to other offices/locations 50% of the time as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet patients as they arrive and manages 20-minute wait time
• Involved in the activity centers and assist with the events that take place, such as setting up and breaking down the classes
• Assist patient with intake processes including copying required documents
• Process walk-in patients and visitors
• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Manage medical records (maintains, files / scans, prepares for schedule)
• Ensure all correspondence is scanned and / or filed in a timely manner
• Process requests for medical records release and maintains appropriate logs

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• 1+ years of customer service experience with strong communication skills both in person and via phone
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience
• Ability to travel 50% of the time to other offices/locations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English / Spanish)
• 1+ years of experience in a medical office or medical environment
• Previous experience with medical insurance
• ICD 10 and CPT coding experience
• Prior experience with EMR computer applications
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Working knowledge of general office procedures

Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Nevada residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour.
