Grubhub is looking for a curious and analytical Associate of Paid Search for our B2B (Restaurant & Corporate Accounts) and Driver businesses. This is a multi-faceted role that will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and play a key role in the optimization, expansion, and testing strategy of our Search program. We are looking for someone who is excited to grow their career executing on large-scale and complex paid search campaigns to deliver meaningful impact and growth to each line of business. An excellent communicator, this individual is also process-driven and loves using data to make decisions. This new role will form relationships with Grubhub's various external vendors (i.e. Google, Microsoft, SA360, Apple Search) and in-house departments as a subject matter expert.
The Impact You'll Make:
- Execute paid campaigns adhering to best practices through hands-on, day to day adjustments and monitoring in ad platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360), including but not limited to: keyword expansion efforts, ad copy creation & testing, bidding updates, landing page testing, and issue troubleshooting
- Optimize campaigns daily/weekly/quarterly for optimal budget and performance management
- Create and analyze reports to uncover data trends, ensure campaign goals are achieved, areas of opportunity, and translate the data into actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with Manager and B2B marketing counterparts to translate strategic vision into documented, tactical solutions and results
- Help influence the strategic planning for B2B (Driver, Restaurant, Corporate) teams-understanding the unique goals and requirements of each team
- Aid Manager in technical implementation for ad tracking and measurement across app and web experiences via methods and systems such as Appsflyer, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, conversion pixels, and more
- Proactively seek opportunities for growth, performing competitive research, trend insights, beta participation, and experimentation, reporting findings and actions for improvement to leadership
What You Bring to the Table:
- 2+ years experience hands-on management of multi-million dollar paid search accounts with experience in B2B and/or recruitment a plus
- A proven track record executing paid search optimizations and accurately reporting results
- In depth understanding of automated bid strategies with experience optimizing towards CPA or ROAS goals preferred
- Proficiency with 3rd party campaign management tools like Search Ads 360, Kenshoo, etc.
- Previous experience utilizing Google Analytics
- Strong communication skills: ability to clearly communicate results, key learnings & opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, economics, statistics or other related field
- Recent Google Ads Search Certification
- A proven analytical track record with a bias for developing data-driven solutions working with advanced user capability in Excel
- Eager to jump in and execute operations on a small and scrappy team
- Ability to operate in a very fast-paced environment across large, cross-functional teams with ambiguity
