Job Description
This position is responsible for overseeing our team of Enterprise Operations Specialists who manage the responses to RFPs (request for proposal) or bids for our large Enterprise customers. Ensure the implementation and maintenance of departmental processes/procedures. The Enterprise Operations Associate Manager will be responsible for team productivity, troubleshoot questions, and answers uncommon inquiries.
The Enterprise Operations team collaborates closely with the Henry Schein NASA Sales team (North American Strategic Accounts) and are in direct contact with Business Development Executives by providing responses to RFPs, reviewing, and understanding the Legal terms and conditions provided and providing pricing guidance.
The Enterprise Operations Associate Manager adheres to quality standards and process improvement initiatives to achieve best practices, may make recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations and prepares complex financial analysis, and reporting. Adheres and follows company and division organizational policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily management of the Enterprise Operations Team. Responsible for planning and directing the work of supervisors and team as well as monitoring results.
- Recognizes, understands and resolves issues or inquiries that arise in the day-to-day operations
- Ensure the processes and procedures are followed and systems are utilized across the department.
- Responsible for interaction with functional peer groups as well as management to provide updates, recommendations and presentations as needed.
- Additional functions included but not limited to: hiring, coaching, training, disciplining and termination of employees.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
- Educate team members to understand the relevant teams to gather necessary information and to determine the technical, operational, and financial components of the proposal
- Lead the team in preparing high quality, persuasive and responsive proposals that are presented clearly and concisely, highlighting the strengths of the organization
- Ensuring compliance with all requirements and submission deadlines
- Maintaining organized records of RFPs and ensuring that files are updated and stored accurately
- Maintain and communicate a consistent RFP response process to all team members
- Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

- Knowledge of key terms in RFP's and legal agreements

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 7 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; first-level manager.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Remote environment. No special physical demands required.
The posted range for this position is $83,250-$146,160 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
