Tesla is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, analytical, innovative and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic benefits team. The Associate Leave Analyst position will be responsible for supporting with specific functions aligning with leave administration, supporting assigned vendor relationships, performance and implementation, participating in strategic and innovation sessions, owning and driving process improvement in various areas, assisting with denied leaves and other project-based work as needed.
Please note hours would be 8am - 5pm. Scheduled days would be either Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday (based on employee's preference).
- Support vendor relationships to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant administration of assigned Leave programs
- Administers specific aspects of leave programs
- Receive and respond to employee, manager and HR Partner inquiries regarding LOA policies and processes
- Communicate with employees and provide timely follow-up to ensure understanding of leave implications (pay, benefits, return to work)
- Execute changes in HRIS system and coordinate with applicable departments
- Interprets and administers leave programs and policies in accordance with applicable federal and state laws (FMLA, ADA, ADAAA, USERRA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, etc.)
- Processes state Disability forms
- 3+ years of Benefits Consulting and/or Benefit Leave Administration experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept to implementation and concisely communicate complex information
- Ability to work in a team environment with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills desired
- Knowledge of benefit plan administration and management, ERISA, ACA, HIPAA and IRS regulations desired
- Strong vendor management, project management, analytical and problem solving skills
