Job Description

The Home Energy Integration Associate works to identify the best solutions for customers across home products. This includes the products function and integration into the customer's live, integrations with other products they have adopted and the interactions between products and services. A successful candidate will be comfortable working with global teams across several disciplines and products while working to coordinate offerings to work in ways the customer does not experience them as unique offering but parts of a fluid ecosystem. This will include how the hardware is acquired, installed, operated, interacts once in place, and integrates with Ford products and partner products. Customers are adopting electrified vehicles and there are new capabilities these products offer that enhance the success of the vehicles in market, and provide customers new access to value and vehicle interactions that drive new business opportunities for Ford.

In this position:

You will be responsible for smart home energy integration and the following responsibilities:

+ Go to market development

+ Deliver customer-centric offering and distribution solutions

+ Customer relation center interaction and approach with partners

+ Hardware Installation management

+ Develop customer-centric experiences and business opportunities

+ Support development now with a near- and far-term roadmap and identify the desired state

+ Manage development of installation solutions for the variation of customer experiences, executing in market to deliver the vision

+ Incentives and grid programs

+ Deliver customer incentives through existing program enrollment and identify necessary product enhancements

+ Identify new opportunities with Grid Team, utility companies, and Wallbox Team

+ Global product management

+ Work with global teams to define customer solutions

+ Cooperatively Manage global roadmap for products and features

+ Develop efficient options and recommendations for regionality and commonality

+ Home systems integration

+ Deliver integration strategy

+ Identify opportunities, standards, and best practices for home product integration, including 3rd party opportunities

+ Manage roadmap for cross-product development, including home charging, bidirectional power, home storage and solar

+ Manage continuity of each product capability evolution while maintaining cross-product efficiencies (through cross-functional team coordination and alignment)

+ Home charging portfolio and roadmap

+ Bidirectional power portfolio and roadmap

+ Partner hardware integration and roadmap

+ Product migration and coordination

+ Coordinate the migration of best practices into product launches

+ Help identify and plan the retirement or encapsulation of legacy products

+ Support business development efforts to create and cultivate partnerships to enable strategy.

+ Lead cross-functional work with program teams and product development. Ford Credit, Enterprise Connectivity, Product Marketing, Ford Customer Service Division, as well as partner organizations

+ Manage roadmaps and execution plans to deliver customer-centric solutions to market

You'll have:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing & Sales, Business or related degree

+ 2+ years of experience with Product or Project Management of a technical nature

+ Demonstration of being curious, creating tomorrow and one Ford truth, pushing teams to explore nontraditional areas while maintaining an inclusive culture with an entrepreneurial spirit

Preferred Qualifications

+ Strong interest in electrification, energy, and sustainable mobility

+ Can comfortably deliver disruptive solutions while developing trust and generating support

+ Comfortable working on "white space" and in an entrepreneurial culture

+ Good communication skills, from communicating details and understanding complex problems at the working level thru complete but concise communications to leadership for efficient understanding

+ Strong organizational skills, including coordinating teams, managing and tracking requirements, and maintaining roadmaps

+ Ability to come up to speed quickly where there are gaps in knowledge or experience

+ Can work independently to drive towards a goal and constantly seek cross-functional support and buy-in to move quickly

+ Does not believe a problem cannot be solved but identifies the compromises and balances to deliver a solution and enjoys always looking for how a problem can be unraveled

+ Can support or quickly learn current forms of team communication and project management tools

+ Optimistic and positive, meeting challenges with a 'what can be done' attitude, and not being discouraged by pushbacks or process or system constraints

+ Can approach a problem with a customer mindset, including seeking out as many inputs as possible to understand the customer point of view
