REFORM was founded in the wake of the #FreeMeek movement. The Board includes award-winning recording artist Meek Mill; Fanatics executive chairman Michael Rubin; Arnold Ventures co-founder Laura Arnold; entrepreneur and business mogul Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter; Kraft Group CEO and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft; Galaxy Digital CEO and founder Michael E. Novogratz; Vista Equity Partners founder, chairman, CEO Robert F. Smith; Brooklyn Nets co-owner, businesswoman, investor, and philanthropist Clara Wu Tsai; and co-founder and co-CEO of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Priscilla Chan. Veteran criminal justice advocate Robert Rooks leads the organization as CEO.

Purpose:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as Associate, Implementation. As an Associate, Implementation, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful  implementation of legislation supported by REFORM.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and implementation of new policies, procedures, and initiatives related to parole or probation
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather requirements and develop implementation plans.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of program documentation, including manuals, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and innovative approaches to enhance the parole or probation system.
• Assist in monitoring the implementation progress and identifying any challenges or barriers.
• Support the evaluation and measurement of program effectiveness, collecting and analyzing data to inform decision-making.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to staff members and stakeholders regarding program implementation.
• Assist in the coordination of meetings, workshops, and trainings related to program implementation.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate implementation progress, outcomes, and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., criminal justice, public administration) is preferred, but equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• Previous experience working in a state agency responsible for parole or probation, or in a related field.
• Knowledge of parole or probation policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Familiarity with the criminal justice system and the challenges faced by individuals under supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data analysis, reporting, and project management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
