Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Associate Implementation Manager!
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation of groups under 500 lives for Life, AD&D, Disability, Absence Management and Voluntary Benefits. You will install assigned sold cases, from point of sale through delivery of final bill and contract.
What you will do
- Handle the implementation of employer benefits including Life, Disability, Absence Management and/or Voluntary Benefit programs for groups under 500 lives.
- Collaborate with multiple departments and build effective relationships with the Account Management, Sales, and Operations teams.
- Assist and partner with Implementation Managers on more complex implementations.
- Gain extensive knowledge of Symetra’s Benefit product portfolios, service and processing capabilities, including but not limited to enrollment, call center, claims, billing, underwriting, and marketing materials.
- Be an advocate for customers; research and identify issues and develop customer specific solutions.
- Issue accurate contracts and billing invoices.
- Provide customer with excellent service via phone and email throughout implementation and transition to Account Management.
- Work with third party Broker/Consultant to ensure a smooth implementation. Manage and document performance guarantee turnaround times and dates.
- Maintain high quality implementation logs and reporting to keep partners informed.
- Develop tools and/or processes that help improve future implementations.
- Conduct and/or prepare materials for Enrollment meetings, benefit fairs and trade shows.

Compensation
Hourly Range: $30.92 - $51.51 plus eligibility for annual bonus program
Your experience and skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience managing small group implementations required.
- Solid understanding of Symetra products, benefits, claim, billing workflow processes preferred.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Phenomenal consultative, problem solving and planning skills.
- Adept time management skills especially when dealing with competing priorities.
- Comfortable facilitating meetings with internal and external teams.
- Great multi-tasking and project management skills.
- Proficient with the MS Office Suite of programs.
