Associate - Government Municipal Liability

A Business Litigation Firm is seeking an Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join our Governmental Liability practice in our Arizona office. Prior experience in governmental/Municipal Liability defense, including civil rights, law enforcement and corrections, or other complex litigation matters involving governmental entities, is required. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of civil litigation and a desire to provide exceptional client service. Candidates must be highly motivated and have excellent academic credentials. Qualifications:

• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona
• 2-5 years of experience in civil rights defense or other complex civil litigation
• Experience with discovery, disclosures, taking/defending depositions, drafting/arguing motions, and court appearances
• Excellent client service, oral advocacy, and written communication skills
