POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under general supervision, the Associate Financial Planner & Analyst is responsible for assisting with the functions of the monthly and quarterly financial planning, reporting, and analysis. You'll assist with preparing monthly financial statements and monthly reporting critical to the organization's operations.

This is a 32-hour per week hybrid position requiring work in-office at least two days per week (Mondays and Wednesdays).
Pay range is $30.00 - $33.00 per hour, depending on experience, and includes the following benefits:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Assist with preparing monthly financial statements, external and internal reporting packages
  • Assist with publishing department P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements as well as quarterly reports
  • Prepare weekly revenue reports
  • Analyze monthly revenue reports and provide data to management
  • Assist with managing Audigy member rewards (monthly calculation and reporting)
  • Prepare monthly manufacturer analysis to ensure accurate revenue share
  • Assist in monthly/quarterly commission calculations
  • Creating SOPs as new processes and reports arise and updating existing SOPs as needed
  • Assist with other monthly and ad-hoc reports as needed

COMPETENCIES (knowledge & skills needed for this position):
  • Reasonable knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is required, specifically using Excel for intermediate-level data analysis
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP software and Management Reporter experience would be a plus but not necessary
  • Ability to plan and complete assignments within deadlines
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to prepare complex written financial reports

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field

Experience:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of full-time work experience in financial analysis, general accounting, or related field

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
  • Hybrid work environment - work in-office required a minimum of two days per week (Mondays and Wednesdays)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. This position will also have to do some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
