OMNI is honored to be retained by Buttonwood Financial Group, LLC in their search for their next Associate Financial Advisor. Buttonwood Financial Group, LLC is a fiduciary focused Multi-Family Wealth management firm, located in the heart of Kansas City, that specializes in their Family CFO Planning process across a family’s generations for hundreds of families locally and nationwide. 

 

Reporting to the Advisory Department, this position provides financial planning and investment management support to the firm’s Lead and Senior Advisors. Additionally, this role will work with clients and client accounts and work closely with advisors coordinating delegation of non-advisory tasks to the Client Services Team. With supervision from higher-level advisors, this position will work closely with clients and their outside advisors in the various fields of insurance, tax, and estate.  


  • Prepare and participate in client and prospect meetings with Advisors and follow up action items.
  • Work with advisors and clients to analyze, research, and implement solutions focused on client specific Investment, Tax, Insurance, Estate and other planning and strategies.
  • Serve as a member of the Investment Policy Committee.
  • Prepare, coordinate, track and follow through on communications with Buttonwood clients.
  • Delegate and coordinate non-advisory tasks to Client Service/Operations Team.
  • Provide internal and client support for Buttonwood Financial Group Technology.
  • Facilitate recurring client projects.

  • Bachelor’s Degree, CFP® certificate preferred or eligible to sit for CFP® exam.
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in the fiduciary financial industry,
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Office 365, e-Money and/or Orion preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills focused around illustrating financial concepts, strategies, and topics.
  • Demonstrate excellence in organizational and time management skills. Must be a self-starter.
