Summary:
Reporting to the Staff Project Engineer for Aircraft Group Innovation & Technology, you will perform electrical design, simulation, and hands-on testing for high-power and low-voltage systems new, advanced aircraft concepts including uncrewed, hybrid-electric powered VTOL types. We are the market leader in providing innovative flight control and utility actuation solutions to the aerospace industry. We have been designing and manufacturing helicopter flight control, vibration control and utility actuation products for more than 50 years. This position is in a highly dynamic, cross-discipline team that will require you to be comfortable with stretching outside your comfort zone. You will assist with Electrical Engineering tasks, support flight testing operations, and conduct data analysis.
Responsibilities include:

• Design of low-voltage electronics
• Design of high-power electronics
• Circuit board layout
• Wiring diagrams
• Integration, test, and debug of electronics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with Military / Aerospace programs and products
• Experience with Lab Equipment - O-Scopes, DVMs, etc.
• Experience with dynamic simulation and modeling tools (MATLAB, Simulink, pSpice, etc.)
• Digital Signal Processing expertise
