This position is with IQVIA’s Research & Development Solutions (R&DS) Marketing team. The Associate Director of Therapeutics Marketing will develop and implement high quality, measurable marketing plans specifically supporting IQVIA’s Research and Development Solutions (CRO services) therapeutic areas. He/she will also develop and execute short and long-term multi-channel campaigns to drive leads and sale pipeline for CRO services and solutions.
The successful candidate will have a strong life science background with a therapeutic orientation, outstanding writing skills, strong visual and verbal communication skills, experience developing marketing messaging, campaigns and tactics, and a passion for creativity and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and measure therapeutic-specific marketing plans within the R&D organization targeting priority personas and geographies.
- Develop differentiated messaging and points for select therapeutic areas of the R&D business;
- Develop differentiator/capabilities decks, web copy, collateral, videos, webinars, social media, speaking engagements, etc.
- Serve as a partner to senior therapeutic leaders
- Lead the research, planning and promotion for select events; work with IQVIA’s events team to execute select R&D conference exhibits and sponsorships
- Support and drive collaboration between business leaders, functional teams and marketing to ensure seamless implementation of customer-specific marketing strategies
- Utilize customer insights and personas to guide marketing programming
- Work with vendors/agencies to deliver high quality deliverables at appropriate budgets
- Collaborate with marketers across IQVIA for fully integrated customer campaigns
- Monitor and analyze internal and external data to develop business insights, implications and recommendations for action
Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communication or business and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in developing successful marketing plans driving positive business results
- Life sciences, CRO, biotech or pharma industry experience
- Successful track record in developing innovative marketing campaigns and tactics
- Strong writing skills for content development
- Digital marketing experience with the ability to track and report ROI
- Build solid cross-functional relationships and work with all levels within an organization
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to gather input from business and technical subject matter experts
- Self-starter with a “take charge” attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment
- Organized and capable of managing multiple stakeholders and projects
- Innovative thinker with a desire for continuous learning

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $109,900.00 - $187,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
