Your Impact
The Associate Director, Global Project Management is a key position within Hearst Magazines International. The role focuses on key initiatives our group is responsible for leading including projects related to digital strategy, editorial and brand, content strategy, and licensing. The successful candidate will help fulfill HMI's objectives and key results by working with stakeholders globally to lead key projects effectively. The role will support each area of our HMI business including editorial, licensing, operations, and digital strategy with key projects identified as our top priorities. This will include working closely with the HMI leadership team, building relationships with key partners globally, and successfully managing complex projects through to completion.
What You'll Do
  • Manage a project roster of key global initiatives, collaborating with teams to create timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met accordingly
  • Develop creative and impactful presentations
  • Partner with stakeholders to build project strategy and timelines
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders globally including with senior leadership across the organization and our partners
  • Develop in-depth understanding of HMI's business across licensing, operations, editorial, and digital strategy.

Who You Are
  • BA/BS required
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to navigate and lead complex projects through to completion including multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Demonstrated expertise using PowerPoint/Keynote/Google Slides
  • Flexible, personable, and solutions-oriented attitude; ability to collaborate with all levels of personnel across all functionalities
  • Excellent planning, problem-solving with the ability to evaluate and resolve challenges through innovative, strategic recommendations
  • Ability to prioritize and manage projects independently
  • Communicative and collaborative

Additional experience desired
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • International work
  • Understanding of Project Management/workflow tools

This role requires the position to be located in New York, NY with an in-office presence of 3 days a week.
The base salary for this role is between $98,000 to $117,000 annually. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
