Job Description Summary
The Associate Director will be responsible for the delivery of BD Synapsys Molecular innovation roadmap in collaboration with the Global Marketing Molecular teams. The role will work with several stakeholders across global, functional, and regional teams to enable the execution of BD's Molecular Informatics roadmap priorities.
Responsibilities:

• Leads change and drives profitable growth for the Informatics business line through a focus on customer-centric informatics solutions that positively impact clinical and performance outcomes.
• Development and execution of the informatics Molecular roadmap to support the platform growth and accelerate value delivery to the customers.
• Work with different business lines and regional stakeholders to develop and execute commercialization strategies to successfully launch Informatics products as part of the different solutions in different regions.
• Management of the Informatics core platform roadmap to ensure product features enable business growth and maintain product competitiveness.
• Develop/maintain an understanding of current markets, vision of encouraged market evolution with an understanding of the implications on customer needs. This includes assessments for existing products, and new capabilities/applications for informatics platform.
• Facilitates sharing of information and standard methodologies across regions to improve business performance, including managing risks & opportunities, build strong global brand equity, and demonstrate pivotal initiatives and promotional spend.
• Assess and pursue as appropriate co-development, co-marketing and other R&D or commercial collaborations with other BDX businesses and external partners.
• Support the Global Product Development System (GPDS) process as a core team member (CTM). Core team activities will include coordinating commercialization activities.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in marketing, computer science, or within a informatics area of focus.
• >5 years proven experience in marketing and product management with a focus on enterprise software platform development and launch; life sciences industry experience is a plus
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Experience in Molecular Diagnostics is a plus.
• Demonstrated skills in development and execution of successful new product launch plans that have provided rapid, global, market penetration and uptake in fast paced, competitive markets.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and implementation skills; proven analytical skills to translate data into measurable plans; proven track record to implement strategies, convert them into tactical marketing plans, execute and deliver results.
• Creative out-of-the-box problem solver who is intellectually curious, stays current on new trends, and takes calculated risks with novel ideas.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills - written and oral - for a wide variety of audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop positive relationships with, customers, advisory boards, and potential or existing business partners.
• Leadership presence with ability to utilize organizational channels, experience and influencing skills to effectively negotiate and persuade others, comfortable with sophisticated and matrixed-team environments.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of challenging priorities. Ability to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing.
