The Company's technology enables physicians to provide advanced solutions for a broad range of medical aesthetic applications including improving the skin's appearance through the treatment of superficial benign vascular and pigmented lesions, unwanted hair removal, improvement in skin laxity and wrinkles, and body contouring and sculpting.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President of FP&A and Investor Relations, the Associate Director, FP&A has three key responsibilities. First, to manage the company's FP&A cycles including monthly/quarterly reporting to business partners/senior managers and the board of directors; second, to assist in developing the annual budget and regular forecast updates; and third, to act as a key interface with business stakeholders (including senior management) to take insights, learnings, and results in order to improve department, business unit, and company financial performance.
The Associate Director, FP&A will become a finance partner of designated business partners and help manage team resources to design and develop reports in formats useful for all stakeholders. The position requires proactive communication with all data users to continuously improve outputs (financial reports, variance analysis, tracked metrics, etc.).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage budgeting/forecasting cycles including gaining input and consensus from business stakeholders, and then prepare outputs for review and approval.
- Manage, compile, and analyze monthly/quarterly/annual financial results, including total company P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow - produce executive/board-level reporting with concise narratives.
- First-level reviews of team outputs to ensure completeness and accuracy of all reported information.
- Contribute to and manage team-wide projects including; automation of routine reports to free up time for analysis, Hyperion Planning enhancements, scheduling of key deliverables, etc.
- Manage/design and develop financial models in support of new products and new business models as needed.
Education / Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- > 7 years' experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- CPA/CFA or equivalent knowledge of finance and accounting.
Other Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel, and a strong command of other MS tools (MS PowerPoint, MS Access, SharePoint, etc.).
- Hyperion Planning experience is a huge plus.
- Understanding of BI tools and ability to create ad-hoc reports.
- Strong knowledge of data/database including SQL and major ERP/EMP systems.
- Focus on objectives, problem solving and management skills to complete jobs on time.
- Communication and influencing skills to effectively drive decision-making and consensus with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
Cutera expects to reasonably pay in the range listed below for this position based on the city and state listed in the job posting:
Annual base salary: $180K to $200K
The actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, and candidate residence if the position is remote or field-based. We reserve the option to pay above this range for the exemplary experience or higher education.
