Job Summary
The Associate Content Strategist completes tactical work associated with assigned projects - typically supporting multiple projects within a single track of work within a platform or suite of products. This includes working with Architects, Designers, Prototypes, and Content Developers to provide quality and timely content-related deliverables to project teams in support of the design process.
To be successful, the Content Strategist should have knowledge of external processes and technologies, both standard and unique to Lowe’s, including the work processes, technologies, platforms and services of the business. In addition, this role works cross-functionally, fostering relationships with key individual contributor level partners across the Technology organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Works cross-functionally across the enterprise, ensuring adherence to customer and store associate style rules, conventions, grammar, usage, brand tone, and voice in all content and elemental design
- Stays informed on best practices for UX content design and continues learning on content organization, UX Design, UX writing, and information architecture
- Collaborates and partners with senior-level peers, stakeholders, and technical teams on deliverables to facilitate product development throughout the product lifecycle
- Aids in defining user needs, may assist with user experience research, helps determine best practices and strategies, develops plans and proposals, and makes content recommendations for improved effectiveness
- Contributes to content best practices and assists with documentation of content strategy quality of work organizationally
- Optimizes content taxonomy and supporting information architecture
- Assists in user research, search optimization, navigation, personalization, automation, and other strategies to improve content discoverability
- Documents content strategy using journey maps, content matrices, templates and other strategy artifacts
- May assist with the creation of conceptual prototypes and mock-ups
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism/English, Marketing, Content Strategy or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
- 1 year of experience in content strategy, copywriting and editing
- 1 Year of Understanding of UX content design principles and execution
- 1 Year of Competent writing and communication skills
- 1 Year of Understanding of the omnichannel customer experience and the role of cross-vertical content
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Figma and Jira.
- Experience supporting desktop, mobile, app, video or omni-channel content.

Pay Range for CA, CO, HI, NJ, NY, WA: $49,700.00 - $94,400.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
