The Associate Consultant will provide critical operations and consulting support to a significant and growing traditional Investment Consulting practice. This position offers a terrific opportunity to gain broad exposure to investment consulting.
The Role:
The Associate Consultant will be primarily responsible for providing investment operations and consulting support. Responsibilities will include working with members of consulting, research, legal and compliance in the ongoing development, coordination and implementation of firm wide best practices. The Associate Consultant will document and oversee adherence with client specific guidelines, regulatory and contractual requirements while assisting the consulting and research teams with client communication, compliance and reporting oversight. The Associate Consultant will also have direct client support responsibilities and may be required to attend client meetings with Senior Consultants.
The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in business, finance, or mathematics and a minimum of 3-5 years investment industry experience. Pursuit of higher education credentials, including CFA Charter participation and / or an MBA can offset less experience. Experience in finance, accounting, compliance, and general investments are desired. The candidate must have strong attention to detail with good time-management, communication, and computer skills. Familiarity with quantitative financial techniques is required.
