Our talented fashion design team - the Nordstrom Product Group - develops, designs, produces and sources 16-plus private Nordstrom labels. A day in the life...

• Understands how product design, market analysis and data analytics evolve retail strategies.
• Directs and communicates Trends, Influences, Colors, Print/Pattern, Fabric and Silhouette for specific areas Produces and communicate trend stories on a seasonal basis. Collaborates with
• Design in implementation and execution of Trend ideas.

• Responsible for the concept, creation and development of processes for multiple categories with leadership oversight
• Maintain and develop clear understanding of brand's aesthetic, seasonal product priorities, and current state of business in order to shift quickly and tailor work to drive business.
• Identifies and directs trend communication on latest market trend information and confirmation of already forecasted trends
• Oversees seasonal trend direction and presents a visual point of view through inspiration & mood boards
• Drives efficiencies across multiple category reporting to ensure team success
• Influence product during development and assortment phases to ensure relevant, engaging offerings for the customer.
• Researches, creates and delivers inspiring solution-oriented content specific to assigned categories
• Competitively shops to understand the landscape and report back findings to team + CFTs.
• Communicates high-level category insights with Trend team to help define trend enterprise POV.

You own this if you have...

• Strong design and conceptual skills.
• Strong knowledge of textiles, artwork techniques & fabric.
• Proficient in Illustrator and capable in Microsoft, Photoshop, InDesign, Miro, etc.
• Positive and passionate with strong problem-solving skills.
• Desire to work in a collaborative environment and build strong relationships with business partners & team mates.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• College degree in Fashion Design, Textiles or a related field.
• 3+ years similar experience

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
WA- $69,000-110,500
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
