Job Description
Clerical Associates provide general clerical administrative support to departments by operating standard office equipment, maintaining filing and records systems and preparing material such as routine reports and correspondence.
Essential Functions:
" Operate office equipment, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers.
" Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages.
" Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing and similar systems.
" Communicate with others to answer questions, disseminate or explain information and address complaints.
" Open, sort, route incoming mail, answer correspondence and prepare outgoing mail.
" May compute, record and proofread data and other information, such as records and reports.
Job Requirements:
" Experience working with standard office equipment
" Experience with Microsoft office Suite
" Experience with multi line phones
Experience:
3-5 Years in an administrative or clerical experience
Education:
High school diploma or GED
***This is an 100% onsite positions.***
This Contractor will be responsible for inventory system updates and minor reporting. In this position the contractor will be responsible for allocating IT inventory (laptops, monitors, phones, etc.) to specific resources within their tracking system Smart IT.
Musts:
Data entry experience - attention to detail
Experience with Smart IT/Remedy is a plus, but not required.
Applicants need experience using Outlook, Excel, Word and Sharepoint.
