Associate Civil Engineer

Upright Engineering is looking for a full-time in-office Associate Civil Engineer role in Lafayette, CA. As an Associate Civil Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with projects, including Civil Engineering Design, Communication, and Project Management. The candidate will have ownership of the projects from start to finish including all details. Tasks include preparing plans and reports, quantity and cost estimates, site visits, communicating with clients, coordination with other consultants (such as the architect). The Associate Civil Engineer will work under the lead Civil Engineer and with other team members to complete projects.

Qualifications
· Experience with preparing Civil grading, drainage, utility, and erosion control plans.
· Competence with Civil 3D including grading and corridors.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and/or EIT preferred
· Ability to work in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
