Responsibilities :
- Evaluates the chemical and physical properties of various organic and inorganic substances in order to investigate their applications to industries.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Support department with analytical techniques.
- Prepare samples for analytical analysis from chemical and biological matrices.
- Analyze data to share with collaborators.
- Assist developing new assays, improving existing methods and writing reports.
- Respond to collaborators inquiries and troubleshooting requests.
Requirements:
- BS/MS with experience in biochemistry/analytical chemistry/biology or related field.
- Hands-on experience with GC or HPLC for the quantitation of biomarkers from complex matrices.
- Experience in sample preparation for biological samples.
- Knowledge of various sample cleanup techniques to enrich actives in biologic samples.
- Experience with robotic sample preparation valued but not required.
- Detail-oriented and organized. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Self-motivated.
- Flexible, able to respond quickly to shifting priorities and able to multitask.
- 1-3 Years of Experience
