Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, open-minded, and results-driven individual to join our Business Transformation team as an Associate. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in advancing operational excellence, process improvement, and strategic transformation initiatives. The Business Transformation Associate will support and guide cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and implement innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, optimize processes, and enable sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Define, manage and close end-to-end Business Transformation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, timelines, and budgets
- Consult with the Business Transformation leaders to enhance Invenergy's business operations
- Continuously learn about Process Improvement tools and methodologies
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify transformation opportunities, create a compelling business case, and define project scope and goals
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste
- Quantify baseline costs and resource requirements, as well as costs and benefits for PI solutions
- Prepare materials for cross-functional workshops, conduct data-driven analysis, and engage stakeholders to map current processes, design future state processes, and define key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Drive change management efforts by executing communication plans, training programs, and stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure smooth transitions and sustainable adoption of PI systems
- Use data-driven insights to monitor and track project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions for successful project outcomes
- Collaborate with technology teams to identify and implement digital solutions and automation opportunities, including emerging technologies
- Drive the definition and adherence to internal processes that ensure consistency and quality
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in process improvement methodologies; DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, etc.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex business process improvement projects
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven recommendations
- Excellent project management skills, including task prioritization, planning, risk management, etc.
- Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate customers, reach consensus, and foster a culture of inclusion, curiosity, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Office 365 including PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Professional certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
- Experience in the energy industry is a plus.
- Experience with data reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Sisense, etc.)
- Experience with process automation tools and technologies.
