General Summary:
This individual will serve as the liaison between the business and IT departments of HCA overseeing the implementation of HCA Business Systems for the assigned area.
This individual will also be responsible for translating business requirements to IT solutions with current programs,
projects and initiatives in mind. This individual will support system configuration, data analysis and code reviews.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Support project and SCR discovery evaluating business requirements, processes, uncovering areas for improvement and development of solutions. Work with HCA and HQ IT teams on cross-functional requirements and analysis.
2. Explain requirements to development teams, support design, development, validation of unit testing, deployment preparations and deployment validation. Perform configuration, data analysis and/or code reviews supporting deployments.
3. Review and confirm design with HCA business, PMO and other HCA IT teams. Communicate design decisions back to development teams.
4. Support defect remediation for QA and UAT on respective projects and SCRs facilitating communication with developers, QA and business ensuring resolution.
5. Monitor and maintain SCRs in respective area ensuring required QA and UAT approval documentation. Prepare and represent IT at deployment approval meetings.
6. Troubleshoot escalated production issues working with development teams and production support to propose and implement solutions.
7. Communicate status updates on projects and SCRs.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills:
• 4+ years relevant experience as business system engineer or business analyst
• Active participation in production support/maintenance for a large enterprise application.
• Proven track record of successfully participating all aspects of a software development project.
• Proven experience in implementing large CRM projects preferred.
• Experience in a financial service and / or automotive industry preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Software Development, Computer Engineering or related field
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills needed to support enterprise high availability KSIOP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge Daybreak Loan/Lease originations, Siebel CRM, JAVA and KSIOP preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL required.
Physical Requirements and Working Condition:
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
