The Associate Auditor will be responsible for performing assigned audit and internal control test work and helping to report the audit results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Preforming audit work within assigned areas and generate documentation showing results and findings of the audit
* Evaluate adequacy of existing controls, identifying weak or missing controls and make recommendations to strengthen controls
* Prepare memos and reports to communicate audit findings to line management
* Follow-up on management's corrective action progress on issues cited
* Collaborate with Corporate Auditor and the Audit Managers in working with Bank Examiners and external auditors; and
* Travel to other Bank location/offices in order to perform assigned audits as necessary.
Qualifications
* Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field required
* CPA, CIA, CFSA, CRCM, CTA or professional certification highly desired
* Previous professional work experience and prior working knowledge in audit highly desired
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word & Excel) required
* Strong organizational and analytical skills and detail-oriented
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
* Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently, demonstrate time management, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; and
* Ability to travel up to 10%

Essential Functions:
* Standing or sitting for extended periods of time
* Sufficient dexterity of hands and fingers to efficiently operate a computer keyboard,mouse, power tools, and other computer components

* Ability to travel via air, rail, automobile and/or bus.
