Our client, a highly regarded commercial real estate law firm in Delaware, is seeking a Senior Associate to join their team and build the commercial real estate development, land use, and transactional real estate practices.
This position will dive deeply into aspects of the commercial real estate world such as the land use and zoning process, commercial real estate acquisitions, financing, and leasing, general commercial law, and corporate and alternative entity law. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial real estate, plus some litigation experience.
Qualifications:
- Law degree from an accredited law school with admission to the Delaware Bar (preferred)
- Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with Delaware and Delaware Courts
- Excellent writing, research, organization, and communication skills, including the ability to persuasively communicate orally and in writing with a variety of audiences
- Ability to think confidently on your feet
- Ability to learn quickly and analyze new areas of the law
- Ability to reliably commute to New Castle County, DE
- Commitment to serving the Delaware community
- Portable business preferred but not required
