Job Details
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be a part of a thriving, fast-paced legal environment where they can work on various complex legal matters and provide high-quality legal services to our clients. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on multiple legal issues, from employment and commercial litigation to real estate law and business transactions. The Associate Attorney will also ensure compliance, regulatory expertise, and estate and trust tax planning.
Responsibilities
The Associate Attorney will have the following responsibilities:
1. Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
2. Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients.
3. Advise clients on business and legal transactions.
4. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
5. Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
6. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
7. Conduct legal research and draft memos, briefs, pleadings, and appeals.
8. Manage and oversee paralegals and legal assistants.
9. Participate in business development efforts, including networking, blogging, and speaking engagements.
10. Provide legal guidance on employment law, commercial litigation, complex commercial litigation, real estate law, business transactions, compliance and regulatory expertise, and estate and trust tax planning.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice in the state.
3. At least two years of experience as an Associate Attorney or related role.
4. Proven experience in employment law, commercial litigation, complex commercial litigation, real estate law, business transactions, compliance and regulatory expertise, and estate and trust tax planning.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to build rapport with clients.
8. Excellent negotiation skills.
9. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
11. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
