Job DescriptionOur Assistive Technology Department needs a full time a Speech Language Pathologist with experience in AAC and a commitment to collaborative multi-disciplinary teamwork. A qualified candidate should have the knowledge of the motoric, sensory, cognitive, and behavioral factors contributing to communication and participation and be aware of adaptations to promote function. The candidate should be able to implement speech and language strategies to facilitate communication skills using speech-generating devices.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association required.
Must have 5 years + of experience with preschool children with autism as well as a wide range of age groups and people with varied diagnoses such as cerebral palsy, physical disabilities, and learning disorders.
Must have excellent communication, organization, and writing skills.
Must have access to own transportation.
Salary is competitive.
