The Wellness Manager (WM) is responsible for the direct care given to Assisted Living residents. The WM is responsible for admitting residents, establishing their plan of care, and supervising the implementation of care. The WM acts as a point of contact for physicians, pharmacies, families, and residents and relaying or reporting all information to the Assisted Living Director (ALD). The WM assists the ALD to comply with regulatory guidelines, operational standards, and budgetary compliance. The WM supervises direct care staff including caregivers, medication technicians and wellness nurses. The WM assists ALD with reporting to the Department of Social Services as required.

What you will bring
Our ideal candidate will be reliable and follow safety procedures and duties assigned by a supervisor.
- Must have current California LVN license; three years geriatric nursing care experience preferred.
- RCFE certification preferred.
- Specialized training and experience in dementia care or certification preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, perform simple arithmetic, and document care given to residents.
- Prior training and continued education focused on medication set-up procedures specific to an Assisted Living Facility, in accordance with Title 22 Rules and Regulations.
- Fingerprinting or LiveScan clearance, as required by Title 22 Rules and Regulations.
- Legally Authorized to work in the United States
