Assisted Living Center Cook

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assisted Living Cook to join our team at New Horizon Senior Living Center. As an Assisted Living Cook, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our residents. Duties:
- Assist residents with getting healthy, nutritional meals by cooking and preparing meals.
- Prepare meals to be served to residents in the dining room

Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, food preparation, catering, or culinary setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic knife skills and food service techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and equipment
- Experience working in a dietary department or assisting with meal preparation is a plus
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
