TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT / ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN BUSINESS LAW
Babson College invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in our Accounting & Law division, beginning Fall 2024. The successful applicant will demonstrate a firm commitment to teaching and scholarly excellence, a collaborative and inclusive mindset, and engagement in our active campus-wide community of teachers, scholars, and learners. Teaching responsibilities will include Babson's core Business Law and Ethics course as well as the opportunity to develop and teach a law elective that contributes to Babson's Legal Studies concentration.
We seek an accomplished full-time faculty colleague who:
Is committed to high-quality teaching of undergraduate, graduate ( MBA, specialized masters programs), and executive students on and off the Wellesley, Massachusetts campus.
Is enthusiastic about developing a portfolio of impactful scholarship in law or related fields, such as business or professional ethics, leading to scholarly publications in law reviews, business journals, books or book chapters, and similar outlets.
Holds a JD or LLB from an accredited university and has been admitted to the bar in one or more jurisdictions. (Note that an active law license is not required, provided that the candidate at one time satisfied the requirements of bar admission in one or more jurisdictions).
Is passionate about educating students to understand and use law to think critically and entrepreneurially.

1. A CV detailing professional credentials and accomplishments in legal practice and/or higher education;
2. A research statement outlining the candidate's current or proposed scholarly agenda;
3. A teaching statement detailing the candidate's teaching philosophy and describing relevant teaching experiences and accomplishments. Where available, evidence of teaching quality, such as course evaluations and peer teaching observations, can be included as an appendix to the teaching statement.
4. The names and contact details of three professional references.
