This position helps manage the warehouse team to handle daily operations of the warehouse, related to product flow including freight, loading, shipping, receiving, returns, transfers, storage replenishment, order selecting, and the Service Center.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in the successful and timely flow of production.
- Assist and oversee employees in all areas of the warehouse and Service Center.
- Ensure clean, orderly and safe conditions at all times.
- Work with Warehouse Manager to ensure accurate and timely shipping of orders.
- Assist in implementing new schedules, rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as required by the nature of the position or as requested by the Warehouse Manager.
- Assists to maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by coordinating, and help enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements.
- Assist to enforce adherence to requirements; pest management – food storage, OSHA requirements, fire protection, MSDS requirements, First Aid, Foodborne Illness Guidelines, Bloodborne Pathogen Kits, Fork Lift licensing,
- Reconcile inventory counts between physical counts and the warehouse management system.
- Assists to complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Assists Manager with safety, bloodborne pathogens, MSDS, Hilo training and licenses, OSHA requirements, lockout-tagout, etc.
Desired Education, Skills & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years’ experience in warehouse
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Able to work and develop team members
- Communication Proficiency

- Ability to read and match numbers
- Ability to used RF scanner
- Ability to drive and operate forklift
- Must be computer literate – MS Office
- Must work well with minimal supervision.
