Falmouth Athletics is seeking a candidate for the position ofAssistant Varsity Alpine Ski Coach.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Falmouth Schools are located on a 100-acre district K-12 campus in Falmouth Maine, a coastal community bordering the city of Portland. Our campus features extensive fields, trails, gardens and hoop houses, and rich opportunities for collaboration between schools. Over the past three years, each of our three schools in the district has been a recipient of the National Blue Ribbon Award: student achievement is exemplary and the community takes great pride in all academic, co-curricular, and athletic accomplishments. Equally important is our commitment to ensuring that all members of our community feel known, respected and appreciated as we work to fulfill our District Mission: Navigating Creative Pathways to Courageous, Compassionate, and Fulfilling Lives.
Qualifications:
Interested candidates should have or be able to obtain the following: Maine State Fingerprinting, Falmouth Public Schools background check, First Aid, CPR, AED, Concussion and suicide prevention training. Coaches will also have to pass the NFHS Coaching Principles course.
Additional:
The season will run from December 1, 2023 to March 15, 2024
Current stipend is $3,443.45

- Create skills based coaching for on hill training as well as dryland
- Work with varsity coach to assist with the varsity program
- Create strong skill-based practice plans for skill and strategy development
