ASSISTANT STUDIO DESK MANAGER - Down Under School of Yoga
Actively seeking a part time Assistant Studio Manager for our Harvard Square location, anywhere from 10-20 hours a week.

Must have availability to work Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings, and/or Monday mornings/evenings. Other shifts are available, but those with any or all of this availability will be prioritized for hiring. Commitment to consistent weekly schedule is crucial - and we will design the schedule together based on your needs and ours.
Ideal candidate:
- Self-motivated and proactive individual with a love of working with people and supporting their movement and healing journeys.
- Strong background in exceptional customer service and the ability to multitask during busy class check-in times
- Comfortable being “the face” of the Down Under when on desk, maintaining a warm and professional environment while caring for students, teachers and facilities
- Experience with Mind Body Online (MBO), Google Docs, Sheets, Forms and familiarity with Apple products -is required
- Flexibility to to jump into all areas of management from selling memberships to cleaning the floors
- Excellent writing skills for personalized communications to students
- Excellent phone skills when outreaching to the community or to our members for support, sales, and enrollment
- Strong attention to detail/organization to ensure meticulous cleanliness and props, and seamless tech/AV function for livestream classes
- Open to constructive criticism and real-time feedback
- Desire to grow personally and professionally, as Down Under has exponential growth potential as our studio rapidly expands
- A personal relationship/practice/love of yoga and its lineage, and appreciation for Down Under national reputation as a disruptor in the yoga/fitness industry in offering unparalleled benefits to staff and students.
- Not required, but a big perk! A 200 Hour Yoga Teacher. You would be compensated for teaching separate from desk manager pay.

- Down Under School of Yoga is New England’s premier yoga school, home to some of America’s finest yoga teachers, fitness professionals, Ayurvedic practitioners, and bodyworkers with a vibrant student body.
