Requirements
- Provide friendly & helpful customer service at all times.
- Possess a positive attitude and professionalism.
- Greet and assist all customers in the store.
- All associates are expected to conform to the scheduled work hours and shifts set by Store Management.
- Must be capable of working on their feet for long periods of time, and capable of Standing, Walking, Bending and/or Kneeling, consistently throughout the workday.
- All associates should be capable of pushing, pulling and/or lifting up to 30 pounds without assistance consistently and sometimes 50 pounds throughout the workday.
- This position requires the applicant to be at least 21 years of age to adhere to Background Check requirements.
- Background Check will be required - any irregularities must be approved by management.
Additional Responsibilities (not all inclusive):
- General cleaning and upkeep of all areas of the store.
- Assist customers and co-workers, when available, throughout the workday to include inventory stocking and control and department upkeep based on Company directions.
- Answer phones, 2-way radio calls, make announcements over PA system, with clear, pleasant and professional methods of communication.
- Computer & Point of Sale system knowledge -- including transaction processing, product lookup, inventory verification and availability.
- Will be responsible for supervision of employees including creating and distributing daily assignments, training new employees, and cross training employees for other departments.
- General knowledge of store products is desired - including Tack, Pet Supplies, Feed, Sporting Goods, Hardware, Automotive, Clothing, Boots and Accessories.
