- Prepare and conduct high-quality lessons, utilizing EEE resources, that align with grant objectives, and provide academic and social enrichment to students
- Establish and maintain excellent work relationships with Site Coordinator, fellow site staff members, school staff, students, and student families Manage and run programming in classroom, without supervision
- Run program in the absence of Site Coordinator
- Document child behavior instances
- Provide leadership and oversee SEEDS support staff in the absence of Site Coordinator
- Respond to all emergencies and carry out emergency response plans
- Become well-versed in requirements, understand and assist with ensuring compliance and data collection required by DHHS/LARA and Michigan Department of Education (MDE) is completed
- Ensure that documentation required by Michigan Department of Education and SEEDS is tracked and reported in a timely manner
- Manage EZ reports
- Enter child attendance weekly
- Enter/update EZ reports activities weekly
- Input/update child enrollment forms
- Facilitate end of year surveys
- Assist in the PQA process and contribute to the development and fulfillment of Program Improvement Goals
- Assist with GEMS uploads
- Assist with reporting outcome data
- Manage EZ reports
- Communicate with, and solicit assistance from other SEEDS team members to complete responsibilities, as needed
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe learning environment for students on a daily basis
- Attend EcoSchool regional and circle meetings
- All other duties as assigned
- School year work hours: up to 25 hours per week, Monday – Thursday, approximately 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM, with occasional additional evening or weekend hours as needed
- Summer Program work hours: up to 25 hour per week, Monday – Thursday, approximately 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours as needed
- Ability to stand for up to 3 hours at a time
- Ability to hike on uneven terrain for up to 3 hours
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to walk up and down stairs regularly
- Ability to stoop, kneel, and pick up items from the floor to a standing position
- Ability/willingness to spend up to an hour outdoors in summer and winter temperatures and weather conditions
- Ability to run short periods of time
- Must be able to easily get up and down off of the floor

- Strong general writing skills
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Must be able to pass all required background checks
- TB test required
- Must be First Aid/CPR certified
- Minimum of 1 year working with youth
- At least 19 years of age, preferred
- 480 hours of direct work with school aged children preferred
- Have completed 15 clock hours, 1 semester hour, or 1.5 CEU’s of documented school aged training preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Must meet all DHHS/LARA qualifications as stated in the Licensing Rules for Child Care Centers booklet
