Diamond Pool & Spa has been providing reliable, inground pool and hot tub service throughout the Chicagoland area since 1989. We are currently hiring for an Assistant Service Technician.

Job Title:Assistant Service Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with installation, repair and maintenance of all related pool and spa equipment and systems. ie:

• Pumps

• Filters

• Heaters

• System controllers

• Pool covers

• Seasonal services ie: openings and winterizings

• Leak detection and repair

• Holiday lighting installation, repair and removal

• And more!

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Communication Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively produce written documentation of work performed as well as research assignments. Ability to speak effectively with customers and co-workers both one-on-one as well as within groups.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 75 pounds and on occasions lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.'
