Assistant Service Advisor/Customer Service Representative

Duties
Job Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Listen to customers' concerns and inquiries about their vehicles' maintenance or repairs.
• Schedule appointments for vehicle services, repairs, and maintenance via phone or online CRM software
• Communicate with customers to confirm appointments, provide reminders, and make any necessary adjustments to the schedule.
• Assist with administrative duties, including supporting the needs of the Service Manager, filing service records, and managing customer databases.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Document vehicle condition, issues reported by the customer, and any additional concerns identified during inspection.
• Maintain open and consistent communication with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on progress and any unexpected developments.
• Collaborate with the rest of the service team to deliver an efficient and exceptional customer service experience
• Assist with getting loaner vehicles ready for customer use- including checking in/ checking out and keeping vehicles clean
• Track inventory and order parts as needed. Confirm parts received and track returns as necessary.

Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
- Knowledge of automotive industry terminology and concepts is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with CRM software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
