Description
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees all restaurant functions during peak business hours.
- Respond in a prompt and professional manner to guest requests and complaints. Make appropriate service recovery gestures according to established guidelines in order to ensure total guest satisfaction.
- Inspect restaurant daily to ensure high quality food and food presentation and cleanliness.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to inform staff of daily events.
- Strong knowledge of Aloha point of sale system.
- Ensure side work duties are complete and tables are set before, during and after operating hours.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and training.
- May routinely greet guests, serve food and beverage, and take reservations and maintain reservations book.
- Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example.
- Creates and nurtures a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing service.
- Responds quickly and proactively to employee's concerns.
- Responds quickly and proactively to guest's concerns.
- Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.
- Assist with interviewing and hiring team members.

- Needs 1+ year of restaurant supervisor experience.
- TIPS Certified.
